Currently Guidestr supports Roku smart TVs and devices. We're working on Samsung and LG smart TVs next.

When you sign-up for a Guidestr subscription, we make printed tables tents for your short term rental. Place one of them next to each TV. They have a QR code with a link to your unique guidebook online and also let guests know that Guidestr is available on the smart TV in your STR.

You can also share a custom link to your guidebook with guests via your short term rental platform. Custom links contain guest specific information like their name and book dates. A generic guidebook link is also available.

You sure can! Rumi is your AI Co-host that can talk specifically about your short term rental. Ask questions like “What’s a good place to eat”, “Where can I find the coffee maker”, “Can I park on the street”... whatever you write in your guidebook Rumi can talk `` about.

We made Guidestr to be fast and easy to use. A clean modern user interface, image uploading and editing, photo library and search, organized STR entry sections, AI copy writing help and AI based locations/places search and entry make it super easy and fast to enter guidebook data.

Super easy, just click Generate Preview in the Print section and you'll get a interactive version of your printed guidebook so you can check to make sure it looks perfect. The output is directly from our custom PDF generation system, so it'll look exactly the same in reality! When you're ready to print, we send a high resolution version to our online print shop, they'll print it, and you should have it in your hands within 5-7 days. You can also just purchase a PDF download version too if you want to print it yourself (we recommend our version on magazine coated paper :) )

We're actually still working that out. It will be competitively priced compared to other systems, but have the benefit of smart tv and smart phone included.

Yes and no. We use OpenAI's Large Language Model, but keep your data local to our servers. So while the data is sent to OpenAI for processing, Guidestr servers are the maintainer of your data.

We have servers on the east coast of the United States of America. Data is encrypted at rest and backed up regularly, all stored in the same system.
