We own a short-term rental in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and quickly realized there had to be a better way to create and share guidebooks. Hotels have entire TV channels, printed materials, and online tools dedicated to showcasing their amenities and nearby attractions—so why shouldn't short-term rentals have the same?

That's how Guidestr was born. We set out to build a modern, easy-to-use platform designed specifically for short-term rental hosts.
